IngotExonerative DNA Obtained in OIP Case


The Ohio Innocence Project, along with co-counsel at Jones Day in Cleveland, announces  that exonerative DNA test results have been obtained in the case of Ohio inmate Douglas Prade.  Prade is a former Akron Police Captain who was convicted in September 1998 of murdering his ex-wife, Margo Prade, a prominent physician in the Akron area. (Read More)

IngotLaw Firm Graydon Head kicks off Fundraising Drive

In June of this year, Graydon Head kicked off fundraising efforts within the firm to support the Cornerstones Campaign and the new building efforts at the College of Law. Led by UC Law grads Lyndsey Barnett '04, Barb Hopewell '78, Katherine (Kelly) Leibold '10, and Partners Dan Burke '88, Jack Greiner and Richard La Jeunesse, the firm set out to raise $50,000 – with half of that amount coming from a generous matching gift from the firm. IngotChief Justice Maureen O'Connor Speaks at Intro to Law Week

Matthew KatzAugust marks an end and a beginning for hundreds of law students across the country: the end of internships, externships, and summer break; and the beginning of a legal career. UC Law kicked off the new academic year by welcoming 105 new students to the law school. The week is traditionally filled with seminars, meet and greets, and, of course, intro to law classes.
