The Psyche at Work: Help for Lawyers' Worries about Employee Mental Disorders, Trauma, and Violence
This workshop, sponsored by The Center for Practice and The Weaver Institute for Law and Psychiatry, focuses on what lawyers can learn from psychiatrists regarding mental health issues that impact the workplace. The event will be held on December 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Tangeman University Center on campus. Angelina Jackson '04 Shares Her Passion for the Law
After graduating from the College of Law in 2004, Angelina Jackson has returned as the College's Director of Externships and Public Service. Jackson, who joined the staff in August, has a number of responsibilities, including overseeing and administering the legal externship program, teaching the externship course, establishing new placements, overseeing and administering certain post-graduate fellowships, and working with the College's summer public interest program. Meet Missionary Turned Attorney: Scott Lewis '14
Like many of his peers, who similarly did not attend law school straight from undergrad, Scott Lewis has had a number of unique experiences and stories to tell. The 28-year-old, and eldest of five siblings, grew up in California and enrolled at Brigham Young University in 2002. The bar results for University of Cincinnati College of Law students who took the July 2011 Ohio Bar Exam are in and the College of Law, once again, made a strong showing.
