The Freedom Center Journal (FCJ) is a joint, scholarly publication of the University of Cincinnati College of Law and the National Underground Railroad Freedom Center. The purpose of the Journal is to foster discussion and debate about the scope and nature of freedom, broadly defined. The FCJ will pursue its mission by publishing interdisciplinary works by a broad range of scholars and students on, among other things, the issues of race, class, gender, sexuality, and religion.
The FCJ will provide a forum for lively exchanges about the cutting issues of today, informed by the legacy of historic struggles for freedom. We welcome students who are committed to making a difference in the discourse on these issues
