Nominations for the 2013 Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching and Barbour Award for Student-Faculty Relations
The nomination process is now open for the 2013 Mrs. A.B. (Dolly) Cohen Award for Excellence in Teaching and the George B. Barbour Award for Furthering Good Student-Faculty Relations. For information on award guidelines, please see http://www.uc.edu/facultyawards.html.
Nominations for the Cohen and Barbour Awards must originate with students and/or alumni. All nominations for the Barbour and Cohen must be made on our new electronic nomination site at http://www.uc.edu/facultyawards/apply.
The deadline for nominations is Friday, October 12, 2012.
In order to give the award to the most worthy candidates, the achievements of nominees must be well documented. This year, the Barbour-Cohen Faculty Awards Committee has made changes in the required contents of the dossiers. For details, see http://www.uc.edu/facultyawards.html and follow the links to the Cohen and the Barbour Awards sites. After the close of nominations, departments with nominees will be notified providing the procedures and guidelines for the awards.
The winners will be recognized at the Faculty Awards Celebration Ceremony scheduled for Thursday, April 18, 2013, and will receive a plaque and a $2,000 prize.
