UC Law Donors Come Together to Celebrate the Holidays
On December 1, Dean Bilionis hosted the annual Dean’s Council Dinner at the Westin Hotel. Skaters on Fountain Square’s ice rink and Santa rappelling down the Macy’s building provided a beautiful backdrop to the evening. Honored at this year’s dinner was Michele Berry ’06 for her continued support of the university, including a remarkable investment in the Ohio Innocence Project this past year. Along with her husband, Professor Mark Godsey, they have created a fund that will continue to grow the OIP, and provide necessary resources to assist exonerees once they have been released.
Dean Bilionis closed the evening by giving everyone a glimpse into the work being done by UC Law faculty and students. Through the wonders of technology, guests were able to hear first-hand about the tremendous efforts being forged daily by our UC Law community – both here in Cincinnati, as well as across the country and the globe.
