Professional Journey: U.S. Attorney Carter Stewart at UC Law

Join the Center for Race, Gender, and Social Justice and the Black Law Students Association in welcoming U.S. Attorney Carter Stewart to the College of Law. Mr. Stewart will discuss his professional background, his journey to the United State's Attorney's office, and answer questions students may have about the office.

About Carter Stewart
Mr. Carter received is J.D. from Harvard Law School and also holds a M.A. in education policy from Columbia University.  He has clerked in the Southern District Court of New York and the District of the Virgin Islands. He  served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in San Jose, California before relocating to Columbus, OH. In 2009 he was appointed U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Ohio where he currently chairs the Attorney General's Child Exploitation and Obscenity Working Group.
