Workshop & Lecture: Post-Conflict Peace Building

Dr. Cynthia Enloe and Dr. Carol Cohn, two of the world's leading experts on women and conflict processes, will offer a workshop and interactive lecture on Monday, November 4, 2013. Specialists in the theory and practice of incorporating women into post-conflict peacebuilding, they will speak about their latest research, followed by discussion with each other and the audience. Dr. Enoe will argue that “If You Ignore Women, You Can't Be Smart About Militarized Masculinities: A Feminist Warning;" She will be followed by Dr. Cohn, who will contend that “If You Ignore Political Economy, You Can't Be Smart About Women and Peacebuilding.”
