Giving

Each year, gifts to Cincinnati Law play a critical role in limiting tuition increases and in supporting key initiatives. Your gifts are crucial to the continued success of the College of Law and its students.

You can choose to make a gift to the Annual Fund that allows the Dean to address urgent needs, or you can choose to support a priority that’s important to you, including clinical programs or student financial support. To get more information on funding opportunities available, please contact a member of the Development Staff.

Scholarships

Support of scholarship programs make a direct impact on the lives of students in need. Scholarships are awarded to admitted applicants in order to attract and retain an academically talented and diverse student body.

Support for Centers and Institutes

Support of our Centers and Institutes provides funding for faculty and students to make an impact outside the classroom in the Cincinnati region and around the globe.

Endowed Scholarships

Named General Endowments -- $50,000 minimum

The generous contributions of our alumni and friends make it possible to award annual student scholarships. Likewise, endowed chairs and professorships are critical for recruiting and retaining a world-class faculty.

In addition to University-defined scholarship programs, donors may endow scholarships in specific areas of study or to benefit a distinct category of students. The focus for a donor-defined scholarship may be an individual college, department or major field of study. Students from identified geographic areas may be selected. Awards may be merit-based, need-based, or a combination of the two. Through these kinds of endowment gifts, donors can ensure the continuation of excellence in areas that reflect particular interests.

Your support of endowed scholarships at Cincinnati Law will ensure that financial support is available for tomorrow’s students and for generations of students to come.
