Immigration/Visa Information

UC International Services is available to assist international students as they make plans to attend UC and arrive on campus. Please see UC International's website for information about the full range of services they provide, which includes your immigration process. After you have been admitted and have confirmed your admission via email, you will work through the “iBearcatsGlobal” checklist to obtain your I-20 and complete other necessary procedures.  UC International will email you with information on how to access iBearcatsGlobal. Questions about your immigration/I-20/visa can be sent via email to international.students@uc.edu.


ELS - Cincinnati Language Center for English Study Prior to Starting the LLM Program

If you need to improve your English skills to meet our program expectations, you can study English right on our campus. One of the largest ELS English language centers in the U.S. is located at the University of Cincinnati. Please see the ELS website for information about the programs they offer. Conditional Letters of Admission are available from the College of Law.  Completion of ELS Level 112 fulfills our English language requirement for full admission.

TOEFL Ibt Preparation Class: Interactive Online Course

The TOEFL iBT is a test that measures English academic proficiency. It is used as one part of the admission process at many English-speaking universities. This course will cover all four areas of the TOEFL iBT; reading, writing, listening and speaking and is taught by two licensed teachers. You can register for the class online.
