The University of Cincinnati College of Law is well-known for the excellent education and unparalleled experiences it provides to its students. Whether it's working on a leading human rights journal; developing your client counseling skills through simulated learning experiences; or planning exciting and intellectually stimulating events and programs with our student organizations, Cincinnati Law aims to create a collegial and welcoming environment for all of its students.
Resources for Law Students
We know that all law students have very demanding schedules. Our staff is available to help through a variety of services designed to make your life a little easier.
Academic advising is a process expanding all three years, including course selection, career advising, and professional development opportunities. Dean Cogan is available to advise students about meeting graduation requirements, helping to weigh curricular and co-curricular choices, and connecting students to faculty who will help to further students’ academic interests. Dean Wagner is available to advise LLM students. In addition, Professional Pathway faculty advisors are available to meet with students with specific career interests.
Academic Success Program
Cincinnati Law is committed to providing the resources and assistance to help our students succeed. From your first year through the bar exam, the Academic Success Program is here to support and guide you throughout your law school career and the bar exam.
Your professional career begins the day you step on campus. The Center for Professional Development (CPD) is an office of attorneys that assists students in making informed career decisions.
Lockers are available for students in the College of Law at no cost. Contact Vicki Hayes for a locker assignment.
