For Clients

Since its founding in 2011, the ECDC—a teaching clinic where law students work under the supervision of its licensed director—has served numerous small businesses and entrepreneurs at no charge to clients. In the process, we are proud to have provided more than $1 million worth of legal services to the regional business community.

Could your start-up, small business or non-profit benefit from working with the ECDC?

Entrepreneurs, small business owners and non-profit applicants must:

  • meet income guidelines
  • need services that the ECDC students can work on effectively and on semester-based timelines. Time-sensitive and deadline-driven projects are not typically appropriate for the ECDC.
  • complete the “Application for Pro Bono Legal Assistance.”

NOTE: The ECDC does not provide litigation services.

If you are eligible for our services but we can’t take you on at the ECDC, we will do our best to find other pro bono assistance to meet your needs.
