August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Moot Court Competition
The University of Cincinnati Donald P. Klekamp College of Law Moot Court Honor Board is proud to host the 35th August A. Rendigs, Jr. National Moot Court Competition. The Rendigs Competition is the only national competition devoted to products liability law. The competition honors Mr. August A. Rendigs, Jr. (1895-1988), one of Cincinnati’s most respected trial lawyers. The competition is
open to twenty teams, each consisting of two or three members from ABA-accredited law schools.
The competition will take place over two days, February 26-27, 2027. Past judges for the competition have included federal and state judges from across the country.
Relevant Dates and Deadlines
- Registration Opens: August 31, 2026
- Registration Closes: December 4, 2026
- Problem Release: December 11, 2026
- Briefs Due: January 24, 2027
- Oral Arguments: February 26-27, 2027
