The UC Board of Trustees approves the naming of The Honorable Sandra S. Beckwith Courtroom in the planned building, recognizing Judge Beckwith’s trailblazing accomplishments and more than $500,000 in gifts to the building effort from fellow members of the Class of 1968.

The University of Cincinnati selects Skanska, one of the region’s largest general contractors, to manage the renovation of the new home of the College of Law.

Following a multi-year investigation into potential options for the College of Law, UC’s Board of Trustees authorizes funding of a design study related to constructing a new home for the college on campus, which identifies renovation of the former College of Business as the best option.
