Meet Your Law Library Staff: Justin Ellis
Where are you from?
I grew up in Madison, Wisconsin, but have lived here since 2008.
What is your role at the law library?
My role at the law library is circulation manager. I supervise the students that work at the circ desk and oversee the circulation of materials at the library. I’m also the facilities coordinator for the building.
What is your favorite part of the job?
My favorite part of the job is being able to help if people have questions, or to help resolve issues that may come up in the building that I can help with.
What do you like to do for fun?
For fun I like to do things outside when the weather is nice, like bike ride, or go to the pool with my kids. In the cooler months I like to read or watch movies.
What is a fun fact about you?
Hmmm, I don’t know if there is a fun fact about me.
What advice would you give to students about using the law library?
I don’t know if I’m one to be giving advice, but I would say to not be afraid to ask questions (that’s always good advice, right?) And also, don’t forget about the basement where the books are. There are study carrels there and it’s probably the quietest place to study in the building.
