Where are you from?

I was born and raised right across the river in Covington, Kentucky and I currently live in Villa Hills, Kentucky with my husband Brent, and our two cats, Lincoln and Peggy.

What is your role at the law library?

I am an Instructional and Reference Services Librarian. I teach legal research in the 1L Lawyering classes, as well as teaching Advanced Legal Research classes on various topics. I also provide research help to students and faculty.

What is your favorite part of the job?

I really enjoy teaching. I hope my students learn as much from me as I do from them.

What do you like to do for fun?

I like walking, hiking, running, reading and yoga. I enjoy writing so I’m trying to get my blog up to date and running again. My favorite sports are baseball and hockey (Go Reds and Blue Jackets!) I also collect Funko POPs. Come visit my office and check out my collection!

What is a fun fact about you?

I love Halloween and all things spooky-horror movies and books, and true crime books, shows and podcasts. My husband and I go to the Horror Hound Weekend Con every year.

What advice would you give to new students about using the law library?

Ask for help when you need it! It’s what us librarians are here for!
