We know that all law students have very demanding schedules. Our staff is available to help through a variety of services designed to make your life a little easier.
Academic Advising
Academic advising is a process expanding all three years, including course selection, career advising, and professional development opportunities. Dean Rucker is available to advise students about meeting graduation requirements, helping to weigh curricular and co-curricular choices, and connecting students to faculty who will help to further students’ academic interests. Dean Wagner is available to advise LLM students. In addition, Professional Pathway faculty advisors are available to meet with students with specific career interests.
Academic Success Program
Cincinnati Law is committed to providing the resources and assistance to help our students succeed. From your first year through the bar exam, the Academic Success Program is here to support and guide you throughout your law school career and the bar exam.
Career Services
Your professional career begins the day you step on campus. The Center for Professional Development (CPD) is an office of attorneys with over 15 years of collective practical experience that assists students in making informed career decisions.
Lockers
Lockers are available for students in the College of Law at no cost. Contact Justin Ellis for a locker assignment.
Meeting & Study Space
Students may reserve space in the law library for study or elsewhere in the College of Law for other school-related meetings and events.
Registrar's Office
The Registrar’s Office manages student records, course registration and withdrawal, student and course data reporting, grade reporting, class scheduling, exam administration, course evaluations, certification of candidates for graduation and completion of bar certification forms.
Technology
The Law IT team manages all equipment in the classrooms and offices.
Tuition, Fees and Financial Aid
Financial aid at the College of Law is managed through the Cincinnati Law Office of Admissions & Financial Aid and can be reached at admissions@law.uc.edu or 513-556-0078.
